Ready for Battle

So today's the day. England versus the USA.
The UK Ladies team (Hazel Jackson, Claire Donnelly, Sarah Wiseman, Nina Clarkin) take on their US counterparts (Melissa Ganzi, Sunny Hale, Gillian Johnston, Tiffany Busch) in the first game of the afternoon. I've just heard that Vanilla Ice is presenting the prizes so the girls and I have just got a little American-excited.
Then it's The Big Game with our boys (Tom Morley, Jack Richardson, Max Routledge, Richard Le Poer) entering the gladiatorial arena against the American guys (Jeff Hall, Nic Roldan, Carlitos Gracida, Marc Ganzi).
Having spent yesterday interviewing the Ganzis – Palm Beach polo's power couple – and wandering the pretty streets of millionaire's row AKA Worth Avenue, I'm seriously looking forward to an afternoon's polo. An International is a brilliant way to introduce people to the sport – you don't need to know polo, you just need to pick your allegiance, make yourself a cocktail and enjoy the beautiful weather of the Sunshine State.
This is what The Day Job is seriously good for. Check out the next issue of The Polo Magazine to read about this incredible experience.
For those of you back home, I'm sorry to mention the sunshine again.... although if you're heading to see The Stones tonight, then I'm not that apologetic; you can get your rays from Keith, Ronnie, Charlie and Mick. That's not Doom and Gloom at all. Enjoy.
