I know blogs and online magazines are awash with the other night's Met Ball offerings for their punk Chaos to Couture evening, but I too am going to jump on the bandwagon.
Unsurprisingly it seemed Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci was the go to designer of choice for his deconstructed take on red carpet dressing. Personally I loved Jessica Biel, because she always looks rocking and I thought she owned that spetum piercing for a little good girl gone bad; Sarah Jessica Parker because who wouldn't want to wear a Philip Treacy mohawk?; Karolina Kurkova's endless legs; Sienna Miller's studded hair band; Sofia Coppola's total f***-you pajama set – ultimate stick-it-to-the-red-carpet-man; Gwen Stefani's abs (give us a break Gwen, you Rolling Stone dueting, married to a rockstar, hit maker you) and Cara Delevigne's Burberry ensemble which was actually perfect.
